Swan Cup
This is the first piece of the series "Love in Mythology" portraying the scene where Leda, wife of Tyndareus, king of Sparta, is seduced by Zeus taking the form of a swan. The set consists of a labradorite cup (23 x 13 cm), of the spectrolite type, because of its coloured iridescence. On the edge of the glass, in a nest of branches and straws, lays an erotic gold sculpture (750 m/m) weighing 368 g. ARS-12. The set is dominated by a large swan (33x32 cm) with spread open wings and a red coral beak.
Weight of the set: 8100 g.
