Safo´s cup

This classical cup, measuring 30x19 cm, consists of several minerals of gemological interest, most of them microcrystalline varieties of quartz. The highlight of the piece is the wide pink and white agate bowl, 15 cm in diameter, holding erotic figures inside. The shaft is made of eye of the tiger quartz and toric gold rings with saphire cabouchons, the filigrane decorations are in the upper part from the Mapica Collection and the lower section is inspired in the Alhambra collection. The ensemble rests on a red jasper flat circular base set on a rock crystal rectangular base.
